Crystal River, FL - Professional Appraisers and Liquidators Antique Auction will present one of the largest collections of Giuseppe Armani figurines ever to be auctioned at one time as part of their Antique and Collectibles Auction on Saturday, March 30th beginning at 10am. The 850 Lot auction will feature over 270 of these highly collectible figurines from a serious New York collector -- to include sculptures by the artist dating from the 1970s to present. Crossing the block will be Limited Editions, retired, rare and "hard to find" pieces, Artist's Proofs (meaning in this case that the item will be one of only five ever made), Society Member pieces, Figurines of the Year, miniatures, and sculptures that have been signed by the Artist. Subject matter for the Armani statues includes Walt Disney characters, Josephine Baker,
Artemis, African American figurines and “The Three Graces” -- which is a Limited Edition of only 50 ever made. Some of the Disney favorites to cross the block are Cinderella,
Beauty & the Beast, Snow White, Jasmine & Rajah, Tinkerbell,
Classic Mickey Mouse and others.
Giuseppe Armani statues are made in Florence, Italy, and the consignor of this fabulous collection will be on hand during the auction preview to answer any questions you may have. The consignor, a New York Collector, will also share photos of he and Giurseppe Armani and other artists from Florence.

Those who collect Hummel Figurines will be pleased to find that the auction will begin with over 200 Hummels -- many of them will come with their original boxes. The assortment of Hummels ranges from Trademark #2 through Trademark 8's and includes Collector's Club Editions as well as a very special patriotic Hummel Figurine, "Call to Glory", which was signed and dated by Artist "Schrobek" at the 1995 Hummel Club Convention.
Swarovski Collectors and Royal Doulton enthusiastists will not be disappointed, since there are many figurines from both makers, as well as Royal Doulton Toby Character Jugs in the March 30th auction. Also in the collectible category are Vintage Glass Canes and 2 Pre-Ban Ivory Walking Sticks, Vintage and Antique beaded handbags, and more.
Jewelry lovers will enjoy a fine collection of Estate Jewelry to include Fine Gold, Diamond and Gemstone rings, earrings, and necklaces.
Sterling Silver collectors will be happy to find famous silversmiths represented, including Gorham and Tiffany. Sterling Silver items offered include an antique calling card cases, hair combs,a muffineer, thimbles, and an assortment of flatware and holloware. In additon, a rare and extravagent Silver Russian Enameled shot glass will be up for auction.
Pottery, Porcelain and China in Saturday's auction includes pieces by famous makers such as Sevres, RS Prussia, Wavecrest, Hand Painted Nippon, Royal Dux, Meissen and Chinese Exports, as well as Weller, Van Briggle and Roseville.
As always, there will be antique art -- many by Listed Artists, Oil Paintings, Paintings on Ivory, Enameled Paintings, and Pastels.
In addition, a fabulous variety of glassware will be up for auction in this sale. Waterford, Baccarat and Lalique Crystal as well as American Brilliant Cut Glass, Heisey, Fenton, Early American Pattern Glass, Bohemian Art Glass, and Carnival glass will be offered. Lamps include a Gone with the Wind lamp, a Reverse Painted Jefferson Lamp and more.
